WHO WE ARE?

  • We are a revolutionary movement which started in 2017 as a grassroots movement with over 345 civil society organizations to stop Joseph Kabila running for 3rdterm after his 2 constitutional terms.
  • We are that revolutionary movement that said no to the cellphone illegal tax known as “RAM” and won the lawsuit, and the tax was removed in March 2022 at the great satisfaction of the people.
  • We are the first ever people’s trusted movement representing the poorest population of Congo making the majority; we need help from well hearted people because we cannot do this alone.
  • Today we are members of the “Alliance des Congolais pour la Refondation de la Nation” (ACRD), a platform of many political parties, civil movements and organizations supporting Dr Denis Mukwege 2018 Peace Nobel Prize winner.

WHAT WE STAND FOR:

  • Promoting civil freedoms.
  • Developing infrastructure now.
  • Eliminating government corruption.
  • Protecting national borders and natural resources.
  • Using government resources to improve ordinary lives.

OUR STRUGGLE

  • The objective is to help end corruption, impunity, discrimination, and mismanagement in all its forms. The DR Congo has been politically unstable for more than twenty-five years and it is about reversing the trends through leadership that takes account and consideration of the people. Our movement, through its experience of grassroots organizations, promises to put an end to the cycles of violence and open an era of living together, one of the corollaries of which will bring the integral development of the Congolese people.

With the technical support of some (BYU) Law professors, our team has worked on the anti-corruption court system and the judiciary reforms enough (if implemented) to help the DRC become a corruption-free country that can attract foreign investors and take care of its over 105 million people. The DRC will be the first country in Africa to put in place an anti-corruption court
